Prescot Primary School and Nursery Homepage

Prescot Primary School and Nursery is a member of the Rowan Learning Trust.

It is a privilege to lead a school that has been part of the Prescot community for generations. I want every child who walks through our doors to know that this is their school - a place where they belong, where they are safe to be themselves, where adults believe in their potential and where childhood is valued.

At the heart of Prescot is our experienced, dedicated and caring staff team, who work incredibly hard to make this a special place to learn, work and grow. Every member of our team has a part to play - bringing their own skills, experience, energy and, above all, commitment to our children. Just like the cogs that represent our school and our town's proud clockmaking heritage, we know that we are strongest when we work together. Our whole team works like clockwork, putting children first and doing whatever we can to help every learner thrive.

We are proud of our school and warmly welcome everyone who wants to be part of it - children, families, staff, visitors and partners alike. We want people to feel that sense of belonging from the moment they walk through our doors: that this is a community where people matter, differences are celebrated and everyone can contribute.

None of us can know exactly what our children's tomorrows will look like. What we can do is work together to give them the knowledge, skills, confidence, curiosity and values they will need to embrace them; we encourage them to be bothered enough to make a positive difference to the world around them.Together, our team is committed to empowering today's learners and preparing them for whatever tomorrow may bring.

Most importantly, I hope they look back on their time at Prescot Primary School and remember that they were happy here, that they were believed in - and that they learned to believe in themselves.

We look forward to meeting you.
