The 'Poet from the Peaks', Andy Tooze, visited school to share his poetry books with us all. We haven't had a visit from a poet in a long time so it was great for children to listen to the different things that inspire him to write poetry - from teachers to babies! Our children made us proud with their interesting questions and engagement. There were plenty of giggles as the poems flowed and we know that Andy has inspired a new generation of poets in our school!
